HyB Bunkhouse is situated on Heol y Bont (Bridge St) in the old market town of Dolgellau, mid-Wales, nestling at the foot of Cader Idris.
It is centrally located above the design-led gift shop Medi, and has free private parking for up to six cars at the rear of the premises. Seconds from pubs and restaurants, launderette and bike repairers, it backs onto the Mawddach trail and the Marian playing fields, on the banks of the river Wnion and only 10 mins drive to Coed y Brenin mountain biking centre.
This quirky listed building has lovely original features such as oak floors, beams and panelling and consists of four bunk rooms, sleeping 16 in total. Each room has a mini-kitchen for basic self catering with fridge, hob, toaster and kettle. One room is en-suite, and there are also two other lovely modern bathrooms. Communal lounge on the ground floor. Bring your own bedding. HYB has wireless internet connection for laptops.
